How Hero works

Service is $1.00 per minute with a 15-minute minimum. You see the estimated total before you confirm, and the final total may adjust only if you extend time in-app.

Hero is in beta in New York City. Current coverage is Midtown Manhattan (14th to 59th Street), with expansion phases planned across NYC.

Yes. You can request a Hero on demand or schedule one ahead at any hour, any day of the week.

Yes. Every Hero is licensed by the State of New York as a security guard, and the company operates as a Security Guard Agency licensed by the New York Department of State.

Every Hero holds a current New York State security guard license — which the State issues only after fingerprinting and a background check — and we verify that license against the New York Department of State registry. Every Hero also completes identity and government-document verification.
